You can download a PDF registration forms for any of our MAMBEC regular child or adult classes, as well as forms for our In-service (PD Days) Day Camps, Christmas and March Break Camps. Space is limited, and Camps
fill up quickly, so get your forms sent in early for the next term. If you are interested in joining MAMBEC programs, simply fill out the donwloadable PDF,and bring it with your first payment to your nearest class. For further details, contact Ms. Carroll at 902-488-6779 or email her at mambec@ns.sympatico.ca.

Families who wish to have their children attend MAMBEC classes, but believe they cannot afford the program may seek financial assitance through Kidsport Nova Scotia or HRM Kids. See below for details.

Single Child

Initial registration for new member 12 Week Program for Child  Programs is $150.59
including taxes. Special MAMBEC T-shirt included.

Registration for existing members aged 4 to 7 years is $271.29 including taxes. Membership includes the 12 Week program, belt advancement and Basic MAMBEC White Uniform (Gi).

Registration program for existing members ages 8 plus is $282.79 including taxes. Membership includes the 12 Week program, belt advancement and Black MAMBEC Animation Team uniform (Gi).

MAMBEC Day Camps

MAMBEC is pleased to offer a Daycamp Program to coincide with the Inservice/PD Days of the academic school calendar in HRM. These exciting day camp programs offer fun and activities with a martial defense/life skills theme.

If you would like to register, contact Ms. Carroll for availability as this program has Limited Space. Cost is $30.00/day for individual days, plus $2.00/day for sunrise and $2.00/day for sunset hours. As well, MAMBEC will be offering a healthy lunch and snacks at reasonable prices. Adult Program

Birthday Parties

MAMBEC Martial Arts Birthday Parties are a FUN, EXCITING and UNIQUE way to celebrate your child's birthday! Your party coordinator keeps everyone entertained while teaching cool life skills and martial arts techniques (age appropriate). We play games to build confidence, teamwork, and focus. Your child and their friends will eat pizza or chicken nuggets or hot dogs and sing Happy Birthday. Parents bring the cake. We do relay races, limbo, and the listening game just to name a few. Your child will smile with confidence as an Assistant Instructor as they celebrate their special day the martial arts way!

Recreation Nova Scotia should try to utilize its resources in order to enhance the human and organizational capabilities of this outstanding program. Presently, this Program is based mostly in Metro, but could be delivered throughout N.S. If this were to occur, more of our children and youth would be exposed to this initiative, and as a result we would have a better society.
In conclusion there is a big upside for this initiative, and hopefully the future will allow the program to expand so that more N.S. children and youth become exposed to this information and apply it to their daily lives.

MAMBEC has done three years of presentations in our after school programs. Lavonne has provided our students with valuable information and skills to protect themselves and their friends from bullying. MAMBEC has given the EXCEL students knowledge and skills that will enable them to be safe and stay safe throughout the rest of their lives.

MAMBEC has provided a safe and fun environment that has helped my daughter learn about many social and physical threats, and how to deal effectively with them, while building her self esteem. She has shown a marked improvement in her social interactions at school as a result, and as a parent I couldn't be more proud of the mature way she is handling them.
