Cole Harbour Summer Camps For Kids
MAMBEC Summer/March Break Camp Specialty Programs take place at the Cole Harbour Place Facility and focus on new Themes each week. Embedded in the Summer/March Break Camps is our Core MAMBEC Martial Art/Life Skill Specialty Program. This Program is taught on Monday and Wednesday to the younger children and on Tuesday and Thursday to the older children. Fridays are celebrated in MAMBEC Camp as Fab Friday, parents can purchase Pizza/Drink for $6.50 (plus tax). As well on Friday’s we give out prizes for theme winners.
Along with MAMBEC Martial Arts/ Life Skills campers will enjoy swimming on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For those campers not participating in the swimming, an alternative activity program will be provided.
Campers of the week are chosen by our Camp Leaders based on Spirit of Leadership, Spirit of Confidence, Spirit of Courage, Spirit of Resilience to name a few.
All Campers obtain certificates with fingerprints at the end of the week for child safety.

At the end of summer camp, we offer a belt advancement for children who have completed more than six weeks of camp.
MAMBEC utilizes the wonderful facilities of Cole Harbour Place for swimming, library presentations, onsite playground, outdoor hikes/running track/soccer field, outdoor challenges etc.
Each year, MAMBEC offers a MAMBEC In-Service Specialty Camp Package for HRCE In-Service/PD Days.
WEEK 1: LEGO/ROBOTICS
July 6 – 10
MAMBEC has over 350 lbs of LEGO® and robotics equipment ready to challenge campers’ creativity and imagination! Daily LEGO® build challenges with different themes Encourages problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation Campers showcase their creations at the end of the week LEGO® Build Competition – Friday Prizes: 1st Place: $100 MAMBEC Gift Certificate 2nd Place: $50 MAMBEC Gift Certificate 3rd Place: $25 MAMBEC Gift Certificate
WEEK 2: TIME CAPSUL
July 13 – 17
Campers step back in time by opening a real MAMBEC Time Capsule created by campers from years past — and then create their own! Include favourite foods, TV shows, hobbies, toys & trends Bring photos, headlines, drawings, and special memories Write messages to future MAMBEC campers Learn how family heirlooms and family history are real-life time capsules An engaging week filled with learning, reflection, and creativity.
WEEK 3: YOUNG DETECTIVES (campers favourite)
July 20 – 24
A mystery is unfolding — can you solve the case? Learn what it means to be a detective Explore crime scenes, observation skills, timelines & clues Practice lifting fingerprints and investigative techniques Parents can follow along and play too! Top Detective of the Week is announced on Friday — will it be you!
WEEK 4: EVERYDAY IS A HOLIDAY(campers favourite)

Why celebrate one holiday when you can celebrate five? Monday – Birthday Party Celebrate MAMBEC’s 23rd Birthday with games, cake, and prizes! Tuesday – Halloween Dress up in your favourite costume, enjoy ghost stories, games & freeze dance. Top 3 costumes win prizes! Wednesday – Valentine’s Day Wear red, make valentines, enjoy a sock hop, games, and sweet treats. Thursday – St. Patrick’s Day Wear green, listen to Irish music, learn to dance a jig, create crafts, and talk about Earth Day. Friday – Christmas Day Wear pyjamas, sing Christmas songs, make a Christmas craft — plus a surprise visit from The Grinch!
WEEK 5: YOU ARE A HOLLYWOOD STAR

August 4 – 7 (Short Week)
Lights, camera, action — it’s showtime! Discover your talent: singing, dancing, acting, comedy & more Practice, plan the agenda, and send out invitations Campers perform in a live talent showcase for parents Parent-Voted Awards: 1st Place: $100 2nd Place: $50 3rd Place: $25 A confidence-boosting week campers absolutely love!
WEEK 6: MAMBEC OLYMPICS
August 10 – 14
Experience the excitement of the Olympics — MAMBEC style! Learn when the Olympics began Opening ceremony with torch passing and “O Canada” Campers are divided into countries Create team flags and choose a country motto Core Fitness Testing: Jumping jacks Squats Push-ups Crunches Daily team challenges Certificates & ribbons for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place teams Awards for outstanding individual core performance. All awards presented at the closing ceremony.
WEEK 7: SUPERHEROS
August 17 – 21
Every camper becomes a superhero! Create your superhero name Choose a sidekick Discover strengths & weaknesses Decide on your superpower Where do you live? How will you save the world? By the end of the week, you’ll see your superhero flying over the city!
WEEK 8: BACT TO THE 70'S PEACE & LOVE

August 24 – 28
BACK TO THE 70’s – PEACE & LOVE (Campers’ Favourite!) Travel back to the groovy 1970s! Learn what life was like with: No cell phones No computers No technology Explore 70’s fashion, slang & music Freeze dance and retro fun all week Campers become hippies and ride the Hippie Bus, wearing headbands and sunglasses. Don’t miss this unforgettable throwback week! Join Us for an Unforgettable Summer at MAMBEC! These camper-favourite themes combine fun, learning, creativity, and tradition — making Summer 2026 the best one yet.
